Pepper & Egg Breakfast Idea

Slice 2″ slices of any color pepper. Pull all white areas and seed and remove. Saute these in a little butter or oil to start to soften. When tender – add a light spray of oil to the center of each ring. Drop one egg into each slice. Flip onto other side. Adjust times to what type of egg you desire. What a colorful way to eat eggs – and fun at that. Would your child eat this?

Open-Faced Breakfast Sandwich

201: cut square from piece of bread and place in buttery pan

2:drop en egg from eggshell into whole

3:move egg around until egg fills square

4:add ham

5:add cheese

6:add square that you cut from bread in number one

7:pat down bread square onto melted cheese

8: enjoy your open faced breakfast sandwich

I have done this on more than one occasion – you can substitute bacon or sausage for the meat and the egg could be scrambled before placing in pan.

11933426_471852942986610_2354228103116112223_nNothing better then a freshly made right out of the frying pan tortilla, People underestimate the usage of these really easy to make tortillas, They can be used for a desert (after cooking serve with small bowls of whip cream, chocolate chips,strawberries or other mixed berries or fruit, syrups and powdered sugar). For savory foods think of this as a holder of foods and not just for foods thought of as Mexican like soft tacos or burritos. Left overs like mashed potatoes and steak, salad, lunch meats, pot roast and trimmings etc can be wrapped up in this for a great tasting sandwich. These are great for on the go eating and are certainly healthier than fast food. You could make peanut butter and jelly even. The ideas are non-stopping.

Easter Bunny Breakfast

20723_10153201019339703_1171244911646901827_nWhat a cute idea for an Easter Breakfast. Make one large, one small, two small oval and two elongated oval pancakes. Add shredded coconut, banana slices, chocolate chips and strawberries for teh side as shown. Very cool and the kids will really enjoy it.
