Use your old spoons as garden markers: Mod Podge the names/drawings of what plants you have planted. Dip spoon repetitively in polyurethane to weather proof it. If you do not have old spoons, cheap ones (10 for $1.00) are available at discount department stores and used ones can be obtained at thrift/yard sales. This would also make a great gift for someone: A spoon and packet of seeds with variety, some miracle grow, bulbs, rhizomes, and hand garden tools all put into a small basket with a bow.

Easter Egg Art
This has always fascinated me and I have tried to do it myself personally but the tediousness makes it so very difficult. I guess for now I will have to do with adoring these creations from afar. These are created by blowing out a contents of an eggshell by drilling a hole at the end of the egg at each of its tips. The egg must then be dried. A variety of eggshells can be used: ostrich, emu, rhea, goose, chicken, and a variety of others. These can even be purchased dried and ready to use from some internet outlets. The usage of a Dremel (or preferably a high speed drill such as a dentist tool) . You must also use a face mask and a ventilating system to avoid getting eggshell dust up into your respiratory system which can make you very ill. The stands that they use are just as intricately created by making something from scratch, using antique candle holders, and other unique holders. I have only tried using a Dremel but would love to get my hands on a high speed drill it would be great to create something so special.
Crafty Egg Surprise CHEAP
Sent to us from Cynthia and this originates from FaceBook profile: LittleBirdieInvitationsandDesigns. What a great cheap little egg gift that could be used to put in a basket, to decorate a table, little party gifts for adults, name tags with a tag tied on with a pretty ribbon. You can even used a multitude of different colored yarns that you have as leftovers. I am even thinking red, white and pink for Valentines Day, black and orange for Halloween. Birthdays could be colors to match your theme. Christmas red, green, white with something just very special inside. See where I am going? I even think you could get extra creative and glue or tie little embellishments onto these to make them extra special. You could even get the kids involved to make a bunch for a class party.
New Years Centerpiece
Use a large clear glass vase.Place four to six small gold/silver glass ornaments in the bottom (you can get these on clearance now). Put a toilet paper roll in the middle and place ornaments all around the toilet paper tube. This gives a round nesting area for the candle. On top of the toilet paper tube place silver.gold ribbons that you have curled. On top of that place a white (in glass jar) candle on top of the ribbons. The 2013 sign was created by cutting pieces of paper to fit the photo areas of the frame. each was hand written (or if you are computer savvy this can be done on the computer). Great centerpiece. (You could also try using all black and white ornament balls) (You can spray paint old ornaments to give uniform look also.)
