I never in my wildest dreams would have thought to make my favorite cup of hot chocolate and then top it off with a big ole scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream. Top that off with chocolate swirls and you have a messy treat that anyone would love. Serve with a spoon and on a plate with a napkin so it can be truly enjoyed!

Sheep Cupcakes
Back chocolate cupcakes and ice in white butter cream. While icing is still very tacky stick marshmallows all over the top. Top with a black licorice gumdrop (or use grape). You might need a toothpick to hold this on since it is heavier then the marshmallows. Add licorice for ears and tail (licorice ropes or sticks cut down to size). Pipe eyes on and make impressions for the nose. Nice treat.
New Years Non-Alcoholic Punch
I always feel awkward this time of the year because parties and get-togethers always make me feel weird because I don’t drink. (at all) I have been welcomed with non-alcoholic beverages because they know I don’t drink but I never like to make a hostess feel “put out” by my account. This punch could be enjoyed by people who drink or not and would make the non-alcoholic who may be attending your party a little less awkward. Place a little hand written note beside all punches you may serve that it is alcoholic or non-alcoholic so as not to single out the non drinkers. This punch sounds very delicious so I would have more made up in pitchers (depending on how many will be attending) so when it runs out you can just add more.

Melting Snowman Cookie Idea
Great idea: Make sugar cookies top with icing and (malt ball covered with frosting) or (gum paste ball) and then place M&M’s for the buttons and don’t forget the snowman’s arms, eyes, nose and mouth made of piped frosting or/or licorice. Great for a party and can you imagine the smiles you will get from your kids if these were waiting for them when they get home from school. Use the same idea for a melting witch for Halloween.
