Valentimes Day / Wedding Day Wreath Door Decoration

1157459_790952564264554_685403349_nNothing says ‘I Love You’ more than the quick way of expressing it with an X and O for a hug and kiss. These door wreaths would work for a Valentines Day decoration or for a Wedding Decoration. The X is done freehand with with berry branches (faux) and the O is done using a wire formation available at any craft store. They are both backed with a four inch ribbon and bow at the top to hang. These can be made large or small which gives some diversity to use on walls, door or as tale decorations or centerpieces.

Red, White and Blue Wreath

972155_482585565147922_1440769029_nDo you love this wreath? Create it yourself with little time or money. This is made from a small/medium grape vine wreath purchased at your local craft store. You will need a small American flag and a variety of red, white and blue flowers in various sizes. Insert stem of your first flower into the grape vine and pull and tuck the stem in the back. Continue doing this with colors as you move around the wreath. You can permanently affix the flowers with florist wire in the back. Finally stick your flag in and hang.

Baby Shower Diaper Wreath

IMG_5744What a great decoration/gift for a baby shower/Mom-To-Be. Start with a wire wreath frame from your local craft store. Use festive colored ribbons and tie diapers on so the opening is on the outside and tie bow. Add large festive ribbon bow to the top and make a hanger loop at the back top. Would make a great inexpensive decoration for a babies room also.

Easter Egg Wreath

59780_453138318092647_1127927847_nThis would make an awesome decoration that you can even make with your child. With all of the varieties of these plastic Easter eggs available this could go into any direction: Mix and match, use all glitter, use a theme, all animal designs. Start with a Styrofoam wreath of your choosing. Take a ribbon or thin wire and wrap it around the top to make a loop to use as a hanger.Wrap the wreath in a cheap fabric (use scrap or buy a festive Easter color or print) and hot glue and pin this together. Use hot glue to attach eggs – starting with the largest and going smaller to fill in the gaps. You could add a little Easter basket grass as you go if you wish. Add a festive bow to complete.
