Cover Nutter Butter cookies with melting chocolate or white chocolate by melting in a crock pot on low setting and dipping the cookie until submerged. Place on a sheet of wax paper and before chocolate/melting chocolate hardens add orange tic-tac for a nose and two m&m’s for the buttons. With a piping tip add mouth and eyes.

Make your favorite sugar cookie recipe. Make your favorite sugar cookie icing recipe when cookies are cooled and make a “puddle” that looks like the snowman has already melted. While the icing is still wet, stick a marshmallow to one side. Let icing dry. Use a red/orange candy sprinkle for the nose and black icing to make eyes, mouth and arms. Use blue icing for the scarf (or change this color up) and green for buttons (or change this color up as well).

What an awesome idea to make over your fridge – and you could do this no matter what finish you have (stainless steel, black, white, almond). The eyes, nose, mouth and buttons are made from plain construction paper or you could use special papers with prints to give a different feel to it. The ‘ribbon’ is just a strip of wrapping paper but you could actually use a thick ribbon if you have one. Cheap and you can throw away when the year is done so no storage.
