You can get cotton candy from almost anywhere from Walmart to your local drug store. Just stuff cotton candy into ice cream cones and make it look like a scoop at the top. Package with cellophane bags and tie with cord or ribbon.

Using any stiffer paper make a cone and tape or staple shut. Use yarn and put long pieces into a bowl and soak it so the yard becomes saturated. Keep wrapping over and over making sure to cross layer to give the tree strength. Let dry on cone. Glue on little pearls and other things you would like on it. Glue on a star. Let dry on cone so it does not lose its shape. Gently loosen and then remove cone. You have a really cool and very very cheap decoration that costs little to nothing.
