Cut a 2 liter of pop/drink like shown above. Will eliminate drink spillage when guests are visiting and make one less thing for you to cleanup. Once done wash and dry and store inside the cooler for the next time.

Recycled Bike Rim Pot Hanger
What a great way to recycle an old bike tire. Holes are already along the sides to insert hooks into or over that can be purchased at any hardware store along with simple chains to hang. Pictured it is hung by a rod and hook system but chains are easier to attach. Make sure the hook that this is all attached to is deeply embedded into a rafter to avoid a terrible accident. Use this for lighter weight pans or use as a utensil hanger. If you want to use this for heavier pots and pans remove spokes and cut a 1″ thick piece of wood the diameter of the rim (use the rim as a template) stain or paint then polyurethane and attach to rim. This will give a much stronger rack that you can hang heavier items on. I think this look great…. can anyone else come up with another usage for an old bike rim? If you can share in the comments:
Pineapple Upside Down Cupcakes
Next time you want to make a pineapple upside down cake consider making pineapple upside down cupcakes instead. Just do the same steps described for your pineapple upside down cake to make it on a smaller scale. Baking times may vary so be careful to check occasionally during baking to make sure your small creations don’t get burnt.
Use For Old Buttons
What a great idea for all of your old loose buttons just sitting around waiting to find a good home. Can be done on an old lampshade that can be painted or on a new white one like seen here to provide a glow to the buttons. Would make a great shade for a child’s room or your craft room. Where might you use this idea? Do you have enough buttons for a project like this?
Keepsake Stone
With a grandchild on the way I find myself thinking back to my kids growing up and wish we had preserved so much more of their creations and developments then we did. The notebooks full of their art, awards, programs, school work, report cards and such are wonderful to have. But I miss their tiny little feet and hands and wish I could go back and hold them once again. I found this recipe to make a stone for impressions of a loved ones hands and feet or impressions of keepsake like keys or jewelry etc. It made me wish we had done something similar to preserve the size of our precious little ones. Tell us how this project goes if you do one…. would love to see pictures.
