Rice Crispie Treat Christmas Train

Molded into a train pan set and decorated with icing. This looks great but I could see the use of so much more candy. I would also display these in a line with licorice connecting each car. Would make a great display for a party and the kids will get a complete kick out of it.

Candy Pie Banks

65127_10151134075180919_1236489235_nMake a favorite sugar cookie recipe (a recipe that makes hard sugar cookies) or you can make this with gingerbread. Cook the cookie in a “whoopie pie” pan. When cookies are done  and cooled take two  halves and use icing the “glue” them together after you have stuffed the bottom side of this “pie” with Skittles, M&M or similar candies. Pipe on a bow of icing or tie on a ribbon with a bow on top. Would make a great gift or party favor or wouldn’t it be a special treat for the kids for desert?

Melting Snowman Cookie Idea

319542_478490855522269_1341728421_nGreat idea: Make sugar cookies top with icing and (malt ball covered with frosting) or (gum paste ball) and then place M&M’s for the buttons and don’t forget the snowman’s arms, eyes, nose and mouth made of piped frosting or/or licorice. Great for a party and can you imagine the smiles you will get from your kids if these were waiting for them when they get home from school. Use the same idea for a melting witch for Halloween.

Green Monster Yogurt Cups With Oreos

Mix 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt with food coloring (can be any number of colors). In a small plastic cup with sharpie marker draw a monsters face. Put 1/2 cup of tinted in the bottom of cup. Top with crushed Oreos or any type of cookies. This could also be done with ice cream or sorbet and frozen and ready for a snack when your kids are done trick-or-treating while you are going through the candy.
