We all have these types of pans in a cabinet taking up space or sitting and looking rather drab within the kitchen space. I came cross this idea and love it. It is an old magazine rack (who gets magazines anymore right?). I think a smaller version of this idea could come from a Coca Cola/Pepsi wooden holder from years ago – with a little craftiness even an old milk crate could work. Leave the crate/rack like it is or paint it up in a make-over to fit your kitchen design. A great addition to your kitchen and a way to up-cycle/re-purpose something many of us have no use for. Can’t wait to find just the right crate/rack when I am out yard-sailing or looking through antique or thrift stores.

Brownie Cups For Desert
Make your favorite brownie batter recipe. Use shortening and cover the inside wells of one cupcake pan and on the outside of the second cupcake pan. Fill the wells of the cupcake pan that you placed shortening into the wells 1/3 of the way. Use the second pan that you used shortening on the outside of the wells of a cupcake pan and push gently down into the first. Bake brownies as directed. Very carefully remove top cupcake pan and let brownies cool. When they are cool pop out of pan and cover. Place ice cream or fresh fruit into the cup cupcakes. Add syrup and sprinkles etc. to make an awesome presentation.
Ham & Egg Breakfast Cups
These are very good and are actually very easy to make, and you can make several at a time. Use thick cut ham luncheon meat and place in non-stick sprayed cupcake pan. Push the ham down into the cupcake well. Add scrambled egg and chives and cheese to taste (you can also add onion, bell pepper, peppers such as jalapeno). Bake at 350 for 5-7 minutes or until you can push a fork into the egg and have it come out with no wetness. Serve immediately.
