Ice Cream Christmas Ornaments

530298_477419642310148_1531513395_nPreform these in advance and pull them out with lots of ohhs and ahhs.

Make round scoops of ice cream and roll bottom into candy sprinkles – think all red, all green, green and red, multi (like is shown). On the side take Reece’s Peanut Butter cuts (small) and poke a hole on one side and then directly across from the other. Take a piece of string licorice and make a loop as the ornament hanger. Freeze well before you serve.

Strawberry Whipped Cream Santa Treats

60720_327520874027434_1397626496_nAnother very easy treat. Cut tops off of strawberries. Toss these and then cut the tip off but keep these.  Pipe whipped cream and place cap back on top of this. Place two dots of whipped cream to make buttons. Then top the cap with whipped cream to make a puff on Santa’s hat. With the tip of a toothpick touch the whipped cream with a dot of black food coloring. Serve.

Candy Cane Candle Holder / Placecard Holder SIMPLE

47310_301268786658094_1510707828_nWhat a wonderful creation that would make great candle holders. Even making enough for a little take home keepsake for each of your guests would not be costly and be very unique. You will need eight wrapped candy canes. Start with two and continue hot gluing each as you go along. You will not need a lot of glue and low setting is just fine. When you get about half way through you will need to keep the candle in place as well so it will all look just right when you finish off with the eighth candy cane. Finish with a ribbon and bow. You could also make smaller versions of these with just four candy canes and use them as name tag holders. Make sure the ‘hook’ of the candy canes stay on a flat surface to make sure your end product can stand on its own. This will be such a great addition to your Christmas party and everyone will really enjoy them.

Melting Snowman Sugar Cookies

Snowman_Cookie_WEBHow cool and how SIMPLE! Do we love it? YES!

Make your favorite sugar cookie recipe. Make your favorite sugar cookie icing recipe when cookies are cooled and make a “puddle” that looks like the snowman has already melted. While the icing is still wet, stick a marshmallow to one side. Let icing dry. Use a red/orange candy sprinkle for the nose and black icing to make eyes, mouth and arms. Use blue icing for the scarf (or change this color up) and green for buttons (or change this color up as well).

I told you it was simple – and it looks so cool you people will think you took a lot of time to create your masterpieces.

Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcakes

1396962_621732474539941_1862622456_oThese turkey cupcakes are so cool to make for Thanksgiving and even though they look like a whole lot of time went into them it was simpler then you think.

~Make you favorite cupcakes and cool.

~Melt candy melts or chocolate chips and dip top of cupcakes into it and allow to harden. (If you use chocolate chips are a small spoonful of corn syrup to make the chocolate easier to work with.)

~The head – the picture shows fondant being used but lets use half of a Nutter Butter cookie dipped into the melted chocolate and then leave to dry on the side.

~Start with yellow icing and make a rippled edging along one half of the cupcake. When done squeeze the icing back into a bowl and add more coloring to that icing to get layers of yellow, yellow-orange, orange, orange-red, red, and a maroon color (by adding a very small amount of black or purple food coloring to the red).

~Top with Nutter Butter cookie that has pipped eyes, nose and goblet.

Would be great for an extra special treat for your Thanksgiving dinner party – the kids will especially love them.
