Natural Way To Dye Easter Eggs

With so many processed foods we eat and the idea that nature can create so much more than we know this graphic from www.YourbasedMom.com is very cool. Create beautiful hues by dying your Easter eggs using natural ingredients. Boil each ingredient independently until it comes to a hard boil and then let it sit. It is important that you leave the ingredient in the water as it cools but you can remove contents to a bowl on counter to do this. When the water is room temperature strain contents. Add white distilled vinegar 1/2 cup to three cups water. Use water/vinegar/ingredient combination to dye eggs. Let eggs sit to retain a deeper color.
Save cabbage, onion, turmeric, and paprika and use as a soup starter. Add shredded chicken, potatoes, carrots and chicken bouillon to create a great dish. Amounts and quantities are based upon your likes. You might also water to add a little butter and salt and pepper.

What an awesome idea for a party. Wedge out a section and clean insides of seeds and melon. Cut skin from wedge and cut legs and eyes out to something similar as seen in picture. Add berries and small melon balls from watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe. Use blueberries and two half circles for eyes – attach with a toothpick. He is presented on a turntable in the pic to add to the coolness factor.

Cut a pallet as seen in the last picture to create three racks for a wall to hold magazines or easily reachable file holders for forms or files needed quickly and repetitively in an office. These would work out great in a child’s room to make books and coloring books easily accessible to little hands as well. Can be finished in a number of different ways from painting to staining. Think about final little details like deals, large nail heads or upholstery nail heads etc. Something very useful made from something free – the only cost is from your imagination of ho the finish should look like.
