Rice Crispie Treat Christmas Train

Molded into a train pan set and decorated with icing. This looks great but I could see the use of so much more candy. I would also display these in a line with licorice connecting each car. Would make a great display for a party and the kids will get a complete kick out of it.

12047_10151341234585412_728843807_nHot glue one big side down to small side forward. Tie a ribbon around neck to cover hot glue with a bell tied to the ribbon. Cut brown pipe cleaners and tie together to make antlers and attach with hot glue. Hot glue googly eyes and attach a nose. Great for party favors and could be used as name plates.

Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup Christmas Tree

6984_10151345599775412_1729794261_nThis was created using just the green Reece’s from the bag which has green, red and gold. For a party you could make one of each or intermix and make a big tree. Hot glue them to each other and top with a bow. Would make a nice centerpiece to give as a gift. Let your children help.

Fruit or Chocolate Christmas or New Years Tree

205131_468802453157303_1224834465_nHollow the core out of an apple. Insert carrot with thinnest section facing up and you can trim the ends of this. Stick as many toothpicks into the carrot and apple as you can. Stick kiwi, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cantaloupe and watermelon pieces on as you can onto the toothpicks. Top with a slice of cantaloupe you have cut into a star. You can also attach pieces of fudge, Hershey’s kisses, Rolos and small chocolates instead of fruit -or why not both – to make a great gift or centerpiece for your Christmas party.
