20161214_080402Here are two products I have had the opportunity to try (and the wife helped this time) and am reviewing for you all today. Both products come from Schwartz Bioresearch – which provides a good quality product and stand well behind what they provide to their customers.

Organic Coconut Oil: The bottle reads “Cold Pressed & Unrefined” “Pure Extra Virgin” and is 2000mg. The product label also says that this has no added flavors or sweeteners – has no non-GMO ingredients, pure and solvent free, abundant in MCT’s, it is made in the USA and has been tested by a third party.

First I must say that I like the fact that the product seems pure to its makeup with no extra added ‘stuff’ that we don’t need to add to our body. I also appreciate that it is made in the USA – did you know a lot of health products are not which to me allows for a lot of weak and dangerous ingredients the opportunity to be added without our knowledge. I also stress that I always buy items first that are made in the US.

If you are asking what does coconut oil do or why should I take it here is the answer. Coconut oil is high in natural saturated fats. Saturated fats not only increase the healthy cholesterol (known as HDL) in your body, but also help to convert the LDL “bad” cholesterol into good cholesterol. By Increasing the HDL’s in the body, it helps promote heart health, and lower the risk of heart disease. In short, it helps your body create good fat and helps convert bad fats.

Before I go on, I must add that you should consult with a health care professional before starting any product to make sure it is a right fit for you and does not have any negative impact on medications you might be taking.

I have taken this product for a few days and will continue until I have blood work done at the end of January. I consulted with my Dr. to make sure it was fine to take and was given the go ahead. On my last blood work I had a mild elevation so I will see what happens then and do an update to this post. One thing I want to say is that when first opening the bottle I did not smell a terrible smell – I have taken supplements before that I had a hard time with because of the smell – but no worries here at all.

UPDATE:

Fast Acting Women’s Growth & Shine Hair Formula With Biotin: (The wife did this review) The box reads “Luxurious Hair Starts From Within” “Specifically formulated for women, Accredited third party tested, Natural and non-GMO ingredients, 100% allergen and gluten free and Made in the USA”

Hi, I normally do not test the products but was excited to do this one! When the hubby presented me with a box and said I need you to try these I was a little taken back. After reading the box and reading more online my interest was peeked. As I have grown older my hair is getting weak and split ends happen more and more. I was going to take the product with the hope that I would see improvement.

I have only taken this product for about ten days. I personally had not seen any improvement – but when do we see good happening to ourselves right? I had one cashier tell me that my hair had a nice shine and asked what I used. Nothing different!?! The hubby also said that my hair feels smoother. Wait – does that mean he thought my hair felt like straw before?

I wanted to wait to do the review until after I got a thinning out of my hair and hair cut to remove my damaged and split ends…. ugh! 40’s suck! I went to my usual appointment with my usual hair stylist. I have gone to her for about five years now. She washed my hair and asked if I minded any product being added. Then she stopped me and said – never mind you really don’t need anything added. She said my hair had a nice bounce and felt very nice. She asked if I had started using any different products – Nope!

I am going to use the product for the next couple of months and will let you know how I think the product has helped with an update then.

My Share: Guideline Pro – Beard Mustache And Facial Hair Guide For Men

20161123_131849

Upon opening the package that arrived from Amazon I was impressed. I was intrigued by this when I first saw it online. I have always had a very sensitive face to shaving. It has made me almost always have to have facial hair because the burn I get when shaving. I thought this would be great to make the cuts even and symmetrical from one side to the other. I was right.

This facial hair trimming guide will provide your guy with a professional-level accurate trim. You would use this guide with your preferred razor, electric trimmer or clipper. It allowed the symmetrical shave for my face with little effort – just hold this guide on your face and trim what is on top of it. It helped me shave just right for my cheek bone, neck line, jaw line, mustache, goatee and sideburns.

One feature I really liked about Guideline Pro is that it is transparent so I knew just where it was which made the end cut perfect. This really is a great idea for the guy in your life. I certainly love it – its simple in design and simple to use and left me with a good cut I did myself but others would think I had done professionally. I highly recommend it.

Easy Budget Bathroom Storage By Rida Maqbool

Not everyone can afford homes that come with a lot of storage space. Typically, bathrooms are very small and you have to be really creative to find ways to store your things. The best thing about functional storage ideas is the fact that they don’t require you to spend a lot. So if you are looking for some fun and easy ways to help you make the most of your small bathroom, I advise you to read on.

1. Floating storage
Floating storage comes in handy when you have a small space and you want to make the most of it. For this you need to mount shelves to the wall of the bathroom, and put as much as stuff as you can on it without making it look cluttered. Not only is this tip, space saving but it is also very affordable. You can also attach wooden crates or buckets to the wall. Be sure to attach generous amount of nails so that the crate doesn’t fall off. Using walls for storage purposes is borderline genius.

2. Décor turned storage
Use decoration pieces that you have in your bathroom to store things. For example if you have a vintage box in your bathroom, you can use it to store your rings, earrings or bracelets. You can also use decorative trays to organize the essentials you need for shower, like shampoo, conditioner or body wash.

3. Borrow it from the kitchen
There are a lot of things in the kitchen that can be used in your bathroom to save space. A simple example of this is spice racks. Spice racks are perfect to store shampoos, conditioners, hairdryers and straighteners. Like I said earlier, using walls for storage purposes is simply a really good idea for saving space and using your small bathroom space wisely.

4. Hair dryer and straightener holder
An inexpensive hair dryer and straightener holder can be easily bought from your local store. With the help of these holders you are able to hang your hair dryer, flat iron and curling rod on the inside of your cabinet door. As these hair styling tools are typically the largest items in a bathroom, this tip will really come in handy.

5. Drawers inside your cabinet
If you have a hard time organizing your things then having drawers inside your cabinet is a great way to make complete use of your cabinets and find everything easily. You can easily buy these drawers from any store as they’ve gotten really popular among people.

6. Three tier DIY bathroom organizer
Buy reflective trays and stands from your nearest dollar store and turn them into a three tier bathroom supplies organizer. From hair pins to rings, you can pretty much place anything on this organizer. This way you’ll have easy access to things that you need the most when you’re in the bathroom.
