Small Pumpkin Votive Candle Holders

1175240_10151838918645266_1921587918_nSuper creative – just cut the top section out of a small gourd or pumpkin. To do this place tea light candle on top and trace the perimeter with a sharpie marker. Cut just with in this line and you want to be able to push the tea light candle down into hole for a tight fit so it won’t go into the pumpkin or gourd. Also, this would have to be done in a short time before a party or dinner as once cut the pumpkin or gourd will shrink which will make the tea light go into the pumpkin or gourd.

971612_10151838942810266_794768443_nWhat an awesome idea. Use acrylics to paint inside on glass then stem and finally the bottom of the wine glass as shown. Add some little fall time leaves to the base and then finish it with a fall colored tea candle. For long term use you might want to seal with polyurethane.

These would work at a wedding shower, rehearsal dinner or as little take homes for the guests when they leave your service. The tux lapels were done in fondue here but you could easily create this in delicious butter cream.

Christmas Candy Can Name Card Holder

Easter Bread Basket

537116_589479911147837_222792202_nThis is just such a great idea – and can be made small for personal servings or large to accommodate holding eggs or other special breads to serve with your Easter dinner…. and not as hard as you believe.

Start by covering a oven safe bowl with two layers of foil. With dough rolled out and cut into strips you will make a basket as shown on the outside of the bowl. Place a braided row at the top. Make an additional braided row for the handle. Bake following instruction for your bread recipe allowing some room to give and take.

You can cook regularly or wash the outside of basket with egg wash to give a deep golden color.
