Valentines Day Tissue Paper Vase

Materials:

Instructions:

Cut or tear tissue paper in small random shapes.
Paint thin coat of Mod Podge onto outside of vase in a 6″ square area.
Place small pieces of random colors of tissue paper into wet Mod Podge letting them overlap slightly. Brush on Mod Podge over top of applied tissue. Brush more Mod Podge adjacent to the area just completed and continue to place tissue into the wet Mod Podge. Continue this process until vase is covered with tissue.
Cut heart shapes from silver paper. Use Mod Podge to attach to project where desired.
Use liner brush to apply Mod Podge around hearts and write “LOVE”.
Let dry completely.

Valentines Day Tote Bag

Instructions:

Paint canvas board red, let dry.
Mix small amount of red and white paint together to create pink. Use end of paintbrush and make dots on canvas.
Cut heart and wings from paper and glue to canvas board as shown.
Outline design with black Sharpie®.
Add gemstones as desired.
Add glitter letters to heart.
Glue ribbon to top back of canvas board for hanging.

Pop-Up Hearts Card
Fold two square paper pieces in half. Take one and cut two parallel, 2-inch slits about a ½ inch apart on the right side of card. Repeat and decrease length of slits until you have 3 strips.
Open the card and use your index finger to gently push the strips into the card. This will form the small “steps.”
Pop-Up Hearts Card (Continued)
Close the card. It should now have a missing notch along the fold since you’ve pushed the pop-up portion into the center of the card.
Glue the second blank card over the card with the pop-up so you can’t see the missing notches.
Use glue to adhere cut hearts to the front of the steps inside the card. The hearts will pop up when the card opens. Embellish card as desired with markers.
Heart with Arrow Card
Fold square paper piece in half.
Cut heart and arrow from contrasting paper colors.
Glue shapes to card’s top as shown. Embellish card as desired with markers.
Flower Card
Fold square paper piece in half and then half again.
Cut 4 hearts and a small circle out of contrasting paper colors.
Glue shapes to card’s top to form a flower as shown. Embellish card as desired with markers.

Make the “candy” shapes first so they will have time to dry. Using brown Model Magic, shape balls and squares to about an inch.
Roll white Model Magic into thin roll and use as “icing” on the candy.
For a marbled look, work equal amounts of white and brown together until marbled to your liking and then shape.
Roll white and brown separately to about ¼ inch thick, then layer and cut into 1 inch squares.
Use bottom of the box as your pattern and trace onto paper. Cut out shape.
Glue paper to box top. Glue doilies to box top as desired.
Roll out red Model Magic to ¼ inch. Cut out heart shape, let dry and coat with clear glitter glue, let dry.
Add pink foam heart and Love sticker.
Cut paper strip to fit around top edge of box, top with ribbon.
To decorate the inside of the box (Optional)
~Flip box bottom upside down, and trace onto paper of choice. Adhere paper to inside of box lid. Set aside.
~Cut 15 one-inch circles out of coordinating papers, and glue into candy cup bottoms. Use adhesive numbers, or markers to number all the candy cups.
~Assign a chore to each number in the candy cups. Either write with marker, or use adhesive letters to spell out chores on the inside of box lid.

Remove cardboard backing from frame, set aside.
Paint frame Pink, let dry.
Dry brush frame with Red, let dry.
Cut flowerpot shape from cardboard from the inside of the frame to create flowerpot.
Wrap yarn around fingers to create flower. Tie center with yarn.
Trim ends of yard and fluff for flowers.
Make 4 yarn flowers. Make flowers different sizes.
Glue pony beads to centers.
Brush flower pot with glue and wrap yarn around to cover.
Glue flower pot to frame as shown, glue flowers in place.
Draw leaves on frame with black marker.
