Brown Paper Bag Reused For A Floor?!?!?!!?!

diy_brown_paper_bag_floor_1

But when it comes to repurposing your floor, that’s a job that most of us would consider to be very big. I mean, the floor of your home is something you use every single day, so the cost for this is incredibly high.

But for one DIY-er named Ashley, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Rather than outsource the job, she buckled down and repurposed her floor herself. You won’t believe what she used!…………………..

Store & Organize Your Scarfs In A Drawer

9a5d064930fb5de6b7444cbbdc9f1d89Using six inch x (drawer height) PVC piping pieces you can organize your drawer and keep your scarves accessible. PVC can be purchased from your local home improvement store and can be easily cut with a hacksaw or jigsaw.

A New But Old Pan Holder

480547_1097740690239072_5855464826337998765_nWe all have these types of pans in a cabinet taking up space or sitting and looking rather drab within the kitchen space. I came cross this idea and love it. It is an old magazine rack (who gets magazines anymore right?). I think a smaller version of this idea could come from a Coca Cola/Pepsi wooden holder from years ago – with a little craftiness even an old milk crate could work. Leave the crate/rack like it is or paint it up in a make-over to fit your kitchen design. A great addition to your kitchen and a way to up-cycle/re-purpose something many of us have no use for. Can’t wait to find just the right crate/rack when I am out yard-sailing or looking through antique or thrift stores.

Pallet Christmas Tree

The design is meant to be a bit rustic so this project is mistake friendly. After cutting the tree you will need three 2 x 4’s that are three feet in length and one that is three feet and four inches. Cut one of these in half. The 2 x 4 that has the end pointing to you in the last photo is where we will start and this is the longest board cut. Attach two smallest pieces to each side as shown. You then need to attach the two 2 x 4’s that are three feet in length going up. Then attack to the pallet. Have fun with the paint job – the options are limitless. Here we attached white lights with green cord across but you don’t have to have lights at all. The trunk could be painted brown if you like. Pretty durable and depending on the paining you do the design could fit into anyone’s home design.
