My Wall Art 3D Wall Panels Really Change Up Your Room Style

I have always been amazed when going through new development homes after completion with all the finishing details and fully decorated. I see installations of wood, replications of 1800’s trim and doors, light fixtures and all the little extras designers have forethought about adding into their overall design. One of the coolest features I have seen in the last few years are these walls that have a 3-D raised pattern. A feature wall, entryway, half wall or an even a cheaper option under cabinets in the kitchen when tile is just too much.

These walls can be painted to blend, giving a subtle pattern in 3D or they can be made to really pop with a vibrant color that will really give your room an attention grabber. With the ease of installation and the great price I didn’t know that these were not just for the expensive home remodel but the average person could have them in theirs. These walls are fashionably designed from simple, very manageable, square panels. They are installed by measuring and gluing (yes, I said it – you don’t even have to nail).

One box contains 12 panels that measure 19.68″ square. They are made from all natural elements (natural plant fiber) so no need to worry about these being in your home if certain things can cause health concerns for you or a loved one. They are also environmentally friendly so you have little impact on your world.

PURCHASING: These 3d wall pane

ls can be purchased at: www.mywallart.com and custom panels can be purchased at the same location. With so many options please take your time and decide what works best for your intended area and what you like. It may take you awhile like it took me awhile to make the perfect decision but the end result will amaze you.

PREPARATION: You start by cleaning walls and allowing drying time (preferably overnight). The walls can’t be damp or panels can buck. You also need to provide time for the panels to accumulate to the room you are applying them in. You do this simply by moving the panels in their boxes to the room of installation.

GETTING STARTED: Simply start in the center of your area to be covered, using a leveler, draw lines for the bottom and one side. Caulk all edges with a thin bead and also any areas of the mold on the back that would touch the wall. Carefully align the bottom and side edge to the lines you have created. Press firmly using both palms pressing along the edges and areas in the middle that touch the wall. This will be the middle to your wall. Everything will be placed on the wall leading out from this panel. Use the spacers at each edge to create exact alignment from one panel to another

When approaching the an edge know these panels can be cut to desired widths. Paint with a sprayer in two even coats to give the perfect look.

I love the look these give to any wall in your home. But don’t limit these to your home. The friendly panels can be installed in retail outlets with nooks, on a wall, or area that needs to be ‘set’ apart to grab shoppers attention. These can also be used within an office giving a bold look to a waiting area or help give a little update where employees are working to help change the regular ins and outs of the routine they get stuck in.

These panels are cheap on the budget but they are certainly not cheap in quality. They are very ridged and when installed do not bend or sag like cheaper version of these wall make-over-panels. They can be changed up again by painting a different color and are sure to be a conversation piece with guests.

Top Trends For Girl’s Bedroom Are Veering Away From The Pink Saturation Approach

For the longest time, girls have been associated with their love for pink. Most parents, therefore, have been working hard to ensure that their little ones get a room that meets their girlish demands. Since World War II, baby color norms have been taking a new direction. People strongly focus on blue for boys and pink for girl’s tradition. However, due to mass marketing techniques, the systems have been differing to ensure that the rooms remain neutral for both boys and girls.

Different colors have, therefore, been on the market defining different genders. Either way, this has been driving girls towards pink with the drive coming from the parents as well. For some unknown reasons, this drive has been making it hard for girls to enjoy their sophisticated nature when they attain a certain age.

When decorating a girl’s bedroom, it’s good to note that she will use the room even when she becomes a teen. Therefore, the decoration should be done in a way that it has both a princess’ look and sophisticated touch for her old age. Here is how to decorate a girl’s room and stay away from the pink color completely.

  1. Beddings basics

Beddings are the centerpiece for every bedroom. For every girl, a beautiful bed to sleep and dream on is very essential. Regardless of the beddings being girlish and pink or sophisticated and cool, you should ensure that they all blend in and give an overall image that will keep your little girl happy.

  1. Color basics

All your colors should have the same theme with different shades. When others consider pink or blue, go for a cool color like green, yellow or grey on the walls. Give the room a unique and welcoming theme color that will not be little your girl when she attains a certain age. Always keep in mind that she will grow up with the room and there are times when she will not be happy with toys around.

Additionally, purple and pink are not the only colors for girls. You can go red and blend it with light shades of ballerina pink. With these colors, all you need is to ensure that you include unique paints of the same color to complement the entire room.

  1. Finishing touches

This is where all the credits go. Make the bedroom unique, special and attractive. Keep everything right with its purposes. Divide the room into subsections to give the girl freedom and chance to incorporate new things. Select a table section with mirrors to serve as a dressing area and study section too. On the table, have drawers that can be used for books and toy hideouts.  Have a few bears with different colors to synchronize the entire room. Additionally, you can implement the use of trundle beds for few friends’ sleepovers.

Alternatively, you can find a cool and attractive baby cot mattress on one side of the room and improve it with trundle beds on the other side. Girls are very sensitive and they will always note even the slightest changes you make to improve their room. Unlike boys, girls will always want to be in charge of their room and the type of paints you incorporate.

Another thing about girls is that they will always want to feel and know their rooms are different from their friends. Therefore, painting and decorating the room pink will only make them similar to the others. In return, their self-esteem will deteriorate and it may make your little angle lose her self-confidence when she becomes a grownup.

Conclusion

As you decorate the girl’s bedroom, it’s good to keep it simple and unique. Ensure that all her young age fantasies are not outshined by the adulthood preparation you are making in advance. Give the room a sophisticated image but still keep it girlish with the entire princess’ nature. Let your daughter enjoy the pleasure of her own little room at all ages without feeling you have over done the decorations or exaggerated her color tastes. Finally, keep your mind open and be ready to renovate the room whenever you feel she is unhappy.

Organizational Tips

Having a beautiful interior design in your home is nothing without some organization. If there is too much clutter the beautiful design will get lost in all the items and your mind will be stressed. Clean and organized home can greatly affect your mood and stress levels, so make sure to master these few tips on how to keep your home free of clutter.

Organize each room to fit your needs

Every room has its designated function to satisfy your needs. However, with too much clutter the room can become completely useless. Thus, reorganize and give back the purpose to each room. The kitchen should be clean and fully functional so you can cook in peace and with love. The bathroom, too, should be clean and everything should work properly. Your living room should always be tidy, spacious and comfortable so it can accommodate your guests and family. Kid’s rooms and bedrooms should be completely adjusted to everyone’s needs. Adjust the heights of beds, closets, shelves etc. Also, pay attention to clothes and how you organize and store them; the same goes for toys in kid’s room.

Tidy up your closet

Closets tend to get crowded and messy. We lose track of the things we store there which results in a huge pile of clothes shoved inside. This provides stress because you can never know where certain pieces are and you lose time while searching and ironing everything. In order to nip this in the bud, you should start grouping your clothes. You can even store them according to frequency of use and put the ones you wear often in the front or lower on the shelf, while the pieces you don’t wear that often you can put at the back. Additionally, the things you don’t wear at all should be given away to charity, while you will manage to declutter your closet.

Consider a storage unit

Once you start reorganizing and decluttering, you will notice how many things you have that can be disposed off or stored somewhere else. Some older pieces of furniture, older clothes or some outdoor furniture and similar items can easily find a new home. Many families in Australia actually opt for renting storage units for storing their things from time to time. If you do have things that need temporary storage until you figure out what to do with them, you can opt for temporary storage in Brisbane and remove some excess items from your home for better comfort.

Clear the kitchen cabinets

Cabinets are one of the messiest places in your kitchen. You constantly keep adding items and food into them which creates a chaos. Take your time and clear the kitchen cabinets and start over. Remove everything, organize dishes, food, containers and so on and put everything back with care. Also, every time you take something out, try to keep it organized and put it back into place and you will manage to avoid clutter. Also, you can use containers with labels and keep your snacks and baking supplies tidy and easy to find.

Keep the documents at bay

Every house has some papers that cannot be thrown away. We need place for our bills, contracts, warranties, receipts, etc. However, they all end up in the same drawer and you need to dig deep in order to find something you need. To avoid this, buy folders where you can keep the bills and contracts and make sure to label everything for better organization. Also, you can have a colour-coded system for each folder and type of documents and always know where to look.

An organized home promises an organized mind and that’s what everyone needs. Master these tips and declutter your home. You will notice instant change in atmosphere that will contribute to everyone’s health.
