This is a great idea – allows each child to collect eggs of their color to make sure candy is divided up evenly. You could do this and have age groups find certain colors as well – this would ensure children of only certain age groups would get certain types of candy.
Print for your children to amke decorations for festivities or have several available for children to color to help pass the time away at the party.
Make your favorite cupcakes and ice (anything would work for these). Make circles about four inches in diameter with a stencil (or use a lid of a jar about the size desired). Make the hands of the clock out of black construction paper and glue them down and them glue fake gem or sequin on top. Glue toothpick to the back of clock and stick it into the top of the cupcake.
Have fun with your little one and use this activity sheet to count to 49 with them and then allow them to color in the final piece.
