Peacock Feather Applique – Free Pattern & Video Tutorial

This is a beautiful design – I have always loved peacocks and all of their plumage. This is a primarily blue and green design but using those or a completely different color scheme would look beautiful. Think red, white and pinks -or- brown, yellow, orange.

I love the colors in the peacock feather. This free pattern peacock feather is amazing seen on the video below how to do it step by step. Peacock Feather Applique – Video Tutorial & free …

Peter Rbbit Easter Cake – Without Shaped Pan

375769_547856161996415_330551927_nThis is so great – and I love how simple it is and the fact that most of us have at least a circle cake pan.

Make two same size circle cake pans and once cool freehand cut 9as shown in pattern in our picture above) just one of these cakes. This cake makes the ears and box tie and the whole cake makes the head.

Be creative and decorate to make look like a boy or girl Easter bunny – I am sure you will get more than one smile from this really cool idea!

Halloween Toilet Paper/Paper Towel Roll Eyes

What a great idea to do a FREE decoration for Halloween. As a kid I always loved going to houses who decorated and gave me great memories when I was Trick-Or-Treating. Sometimes just the simple decorations were just as cool to me – although I absolutely loved the houses that gave me chills to walk up to.

For this decoration you just need toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls and glow sticks (get these at a dollar store where you can find a large package of bracelets, necklaces etc. for a dollar). Cut slits and ovals and anything else you can think of in these tubes. Don’t worry about the exterior of the tubes as it will be dark and no one will see anything except the glowing eyeballs.

Hang them from fishing line, stick them in bushes, or stick or hang them in trees. Think of all the nooks and crannies that these can go into. When that special night starts to happen snap your glow sticks to turn them on and stick them inside the tubes.

PS: This time of year they also have those look alike candles that are small that are actually a light bulb which you could use.
