Interaction with baby is so very important – but so is trying to get healthy and get your body back right? I am not sure who to credit this picture to but I had to share it – it really is a simple, creative and cool way to make baby happy to to make mamma happy as well. There is several different exercises like this that can be done – and daddy can do them as well.
This poem has been circulating for sometime now around the internet. Retype and print onto a white card stock from your desk top publishing system. Use multicolored ink pads to put impressions of baby’s feet to make a background. I found that paint won’t work as well for a project like this as it tends to be too dark unless you put the foot prints off to each side. Use poster paints or watercolor straight from the tube and rinse feet well. Frame after in dries thoroughly and Dad will enjoy it in a special place in the home or on his desk in his office.
One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me. I was
maybe 2 1/2 years old. Someone had given me a little ‘tea set’ as a gift
and it was one of my favorite toys.
Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I
brought Daddy a little cup of ‘tea’, which was just water. After several
cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home.
My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup
of tea, because it was ‘just the cutest thing!’ My Mom waited, and sure
enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she
watches him drink it up.
Then she says, (as only a mother would know… ‘Did it ever occur to you
that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?’
