What a great gift this would be to your child when they turn eighteen or graduate. This design incorporates baby clothes and are made into a quilt. I don’t know that much about quilting but this is an absolute awesome idea. You could even incorporate clothing pieces from your child’s outgrown clothes throughout the years.

Makes a great present for the Grandparents or a gift for Mothers or Fathers Day! Finish with straight simple lines for the stem and add an extra few strokes under the foot imprint.

Baby’s 1st Halloween Pumpkin Idea
What a great way to bring the pumpkin in to help celebrate a child’s first Halloween. It was found that tracing the feet and hands onto paper and then cutting it out to use as templets worked best. Trace and then cut with saw blade from a pumpkin carving set. Using a drawn set of hands and feet would also be a great way to make a pumpkin to display for family and friends to learn your exciting news that you are expecting.
Baby In Bathtub Trick
I found this idea and tried it when the granddaughter was here for a visit. Insert a laundry basket into the tub and fill it up with water to wash the baby. Put their toys into the basket and put the child into the basket. This is great as a transitional aid to let baby feel safe. It also makes it easier to drain tub and keep toys easily accessible. Use shower spray to rinse out basket and dry.
