These are relatively simple and basic amounts of colored icing can be used. These would work at a wedding shower, rehearsal dinner or as little take homes for the guests when they leave your service. The tux lapels were done in fondue here but you could easily create this in delicious butter cream.

Krispie Treat Christmas Trees
Simple – us your hands with food safe gloves and use oil to coat. Mold the Green Krispie Rice mixture around ice cream cone (died by adding food coloring to butter and marshmallows). When the mixture has dried use icing to make garland and M&M’s for ornaments. These can be added to a gingerbread house landscape or on top of cupcakes.
Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcakes
These turkey cupcakes are so cool to make for Thanksgiving and even though they look like a whole lot of time went into them it was simpler then you think.
~Make you favorite cupcakes and cool.
~Melt candy melts or chocolate chips and dip top of cupcakes into it and allow to harden. (If you use chocolate chips are a small spoonful of corn syrup to make the chocolate easier to work with.)
~The head – the picture shows fondant being used but lets use half of a Nutter Butter cookie dipped into the melted chocolate and then leave to dry on the side.
~Start with yellow icing and make a rippled edging along one half of the cupcake. When done squeeze the icing back into a bowl and add more coloring to that icing to get layers of yellow, yellow-orange, orange, orange-red, red, and a maroon color (by adding a very small amount of black or purple food coloring to the red).
~Top with Nutter Butter cookie that has pipped eyes, nose and goblet.
Would be great for an extra special treat for your Thanksgiving dinner party – the kids will especially love them.
