This is a fantastic idea. Make a memory jar for the new year. As the days go on write little notes of things you are thankful for. Read these next year and treasure moments that you may have forgotten about. Jar can be made from a mason jar or any recycled jar from the kitchen.
Print for your children to amke decorations for festivities or have several available for children to color to help pass the time away at the party.
Mylar balloons can often be purchased from florists or party supply centers in many designs as well as letters and numbers. Purchase the numbers to make the upcoming year and display them for your party guests. It makes a really bold statement.
Print a sheet out for your children to create decorations for New Years or if little ones will be joining the festivities print several out and let them color to help pass the time away.
Make your favorite cupcakes and ice (anything would work for these). Make circles about four inches in diameter with a stencil (or use a lid of a jar about the size desired). Make the hands of the clock out of black construction paper and glue them down and them glue fake gem or sequin on top. Glue toothpick to the back of clock and stick it into the top of the cupcake.
