Using a cupcake pan with 24 wells you can make yourself an advent calendar. Make 24 circles out of card stock paper and make smaller circles with 1 – 24 on them. Place a piece of candy (or two or three to make sure each child has a piece) or little keepsakes in each well and attach the circles which would be edged with roll on glue around the edges.
What a sight it would have been to see – the commotion of seeing Christmas trees brought in by horse and wagon.
Simply super glue two small candy canes together like shown in the picture so it will hold up a name card. You will need a third to use as a kickstand.
This is pretty simple but very elegant. A few ornament balls and snowflakes to add for a dramatic flare. Top it off with a styrofoam ball big enough for a head and then top that off with a top hat. Add scarf to separate head from body.
Use a pool noodle put together with a short piece of doweling and glued together using Goop. Make your wreath with favorite flowers and add ins. Makes this really cheap.
