Halloween Trick-Or Treat Smell My Feet – Footprint Keepsake
What a great piece of memory you can make – and its very simple to do. Would work great as a little gift to Grandparents. Take white acrylic paint and spread over area larger than one of your child’s feet with a paintbrush on a paper plate. Dip child’s foot into the paint and then brush excess off while making sure every area of the foot is covered. Tickle top of toe area to help make toes spread. Place child’s foot in a hovering position to ensure it will go down where you want it to. Gently press down on foot and ensure pressure is given from heal to toes and lift directly up. When dry add dots for mouth and eyes to make the ghosts and paint the wording. Seal with polyurethane. Make sure to wash both feet well – would be best to do this before bath time.

Mother’s Day Gift Idea
Mother’s Day / Father’s Day Card / Plaque
This was actually done on a wooden plaque that you can get at your local craft store for about $1.50. You could do this on a card stock sheet of paper for a great Mother’s Day card as well. Use watercolors (on paper) and acrylic (on wooden plaque) and brush back and forth in long strokes going off the sides with each stroke. Use a variation of your Mother’s favorite colors. When done use water based poster paint (used the color white here) and make an impression of hand and feet then finish it off with an ‘L’ and an ‘E’. Something more than just a store bought card that Mom or a Grandma would love to cherish for years to come. I think the same design with blue’s in the background would also work for a card for Father’s Day – I know I would be happy to receive it.
