Bell Wreath Instructions
Step 1 Make a circular loop with heavy gauge floral wire.
Step 2 String bells along wire and fit them closely together around the length of the loop.
Step 3 Use a pipe cleaner to wind around the bells at either end of the loop to hold the wreath shape together in a circle.
Step 4 Tie a bow around a pipe cleaner and then tie that pipe cleaner around the part of the loop that was joined together.

Bell Tree Instructions
Step 1 With hobby knife, cut a Styrofoam* floral cone down to desired size for tree.
Step 2 Cover cone with wrapping paper that matches the bells you will be using to decorate. Glue paper into place.
Step 3 String bells on lengths of chenille stems, keeping in mind how big your cone is.
Step 4 Join the strings of bells by twisting them together, end to end. Push one end of the joined chenille stems into the top of the cone.
Step 5 Begin circling the cone with the chenille stems and bells starting from the top and working down to the bottom in a spiral. Push in the other end of the pipe cleaner into the bottom edge of the cone.
Step 6 Wrap and glue craft boa to the base and top of the cone.
Step 7 Trace two stars and one base onto sticky foam sheet and cut out.
Step 8 Stick two stars together, sticky side to sticky side and insert a toothpick in between the stars half way in from the bottom.  Insert into the top of the tree. Glue gemstone onto front of star.
Step 9 Glue the tree onto center of base and glue craft boa around the bottom of the tree.

Fall Scarecrow Decoration

Materials:

Instructions:
  1. Paint the fence with brown and let dry.
  2. ADULT:  Cut the dowel rod into 3 pieces: 1 longer piece for the scarecrow, and 2 shorter pieces for the corn.
  3. Use the brown marker to draw a pumpkin face on one of the pumpkins. Cut narrow strips of orange foam for the scarecrow’s straw arms and legs. Glue a dowel rod and straw legs and arms sandwiched in between 2 leaves, as shown, leaving a little bit of dowel sticking up at the top to attach the pumpkin head. Sandwich the dowel at top between the pumpkin face and another pumpkin.
  4. Adhere the corn to the 2 remaining dowel pieces. Remove the flower head from one of the sunflower stickers and adhere to another sunflower sticker. Glue a button to the flower head.
  5. Cut a 6-inch x 2-inch block of green foam. Cut a piece of tan foam to fit around the block; cut along one edge to give the appearance of grass. Glue the tan grass around the foam block. Insert all of the pieces into the foam block. Embellish with stickers and letters. Outline and detail some of the stickers if desired.

Spooky Halloween Sign

Materials:

  • Felt Sheet – Black
  • Foam Stickers – Alphabet
  • Felt Sheet – Yellow

  • Ribbon of Choice
  • Crayola® Pointed Scissors
  • Aleene’s “Tacky” Glue®
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Felt Sheet – Purple
  • Felt Sheet – White
Instructions:
  1. Cut an 8-inch x 12-inch rectangle from black felt. Cut a 7½-inch x 12-inch rectangle from purple felt and fringe the long sides, as shown. (Note: to fringe, make small cuts along the edge of the felt.) Glue the purple rectangle centered on the black rectangle.
  2. Glue the letters to the sign to spell “Spooks Welcome” or other message of choice.
  3. Use a pencil to draw a ghost onto white felt, a circle onto yellow felt and a bat onto black felt. (Note: Be creative! There is no right or wrong way to draw these figures.) Cut out. Glue the ghost and yellow moon to the sign. Glue the bat to the moon.
  4. Cut the desired length of ribbon for a hanger and glue to the back of the sign. Tie a piece of ribbon into a shoestring bow and glue to the ghost for a bow tie.

Halloween Ghost-Of-A-Pillow

Materials:

  • Pencil

  • Big Bag Buttons
  • Sewing Basket 100 Color Ball Pins
  • Quilting Basket Chalk Marking Pencils
  • Sewing Machine (Adult Use Only)

Instructions:

  1. Lay the white felt flat on your work surface and fold in half.
  2. Draw and cut out ghost pattern. Pin the pattern to both layers of the felt and cut around the edges. Remove pins and discard the pattern.
  3. Place the top piece of felt in front of you and put the back aside.
  4. Gather the buttons needed for the face and place beside you. Thread 6 strands of floss onto a needle and knot one end. For each eye, you can sew the 2 buttons on at the same time as shown.
  5. Sew the middle button of the mouth on first and build out from there.
  6. Use a chalk pencil to draw the hair swirl before backstitching.
  7. Cut the patches from neon lime and lavender felt sheets. Make them as big or little as you want. Pin them onto the ghost front where desired. You may choose to overlap them as in the photo. Straight stitch the patches into place. Sew buttons on if you wish.
  8. When you are done embellishing the ghost, flip the front over and place on top of the back piece. Be sure to align edges and pin them together. Note: The ghost should be pinned together inside-out.
  9. Have an adult sew the ghost together using the sewing machine, being sure to leave at least a 4-inch wide opening for stuffing.
  10. Turn the ghost right-side-out and fill with Poly-Fil®. Stitch closed with floss or thread.

Halloween Scary Banner

Materials:

Instructions:
  1. Cut banner from black foam.
  2. Decorate ghosts with markers as desired.
  3. Glue the ghosts and letters to the banner.
  4. Adhere a magnet strip to the back of the banner.
